Hi, I’m Malia, a certified yoga instructor, writer, and blogger.cropped-yoga.jpg

I began my yoga journey in my teens as a way to cope with anxiety. Yoga was a wonderful way for me to reconnect with my body and find a sense of peace.

Since then, I started teaching yoga and meditation with an emphasis on restoration, relaxation, and self-love. I’m certified in trauma informed yoga therapy (TIYT) and am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. I’ve also been formally trained in restorative yoga, anatomy and sequencing for injury prevention, the art of holding space, and more.

As life has continued to evolve, I am no longer doing any online work and will not have any new content, though I hope you find the resources that are already here helpful. Lots of love on your journey!

I just had to take a minute and tell you that your piece on anxiety and the use of mantras was incredibly inspiring and helpful. It’s so nice to read something from someone who has been there themselves. Plus we share the same name! Extra cool πŸ™‚

Malia I cannot thank you enough for your ebook “A return to self” to help deal with dp/dr. I am not cured, but definitely better. I implement your coping techniques every day, along with meditation and exercise. Thank you so much!!!! I also follow your yoga channel on youtube. You are truly a wonderful person πŸ™‚
